Hello everyone! My name is Assyl, and I would like to share my story—a story about a profession that people do not often expect to see chosen by a woman.

My journey at Borusan Cat Kazakhstan, in the CRS in the city of Karaganda, began in 2024 with my pre-graduation internship. At that time, it was just the first step, but today it has become an important part of my professional life. I currently work as an inspection mechanic, where each day requires a high level of focus, precision, and responsibility. My work involves measuring components, checking them for wear, and identifying defects. The quality of the inspection directly affects the further operation of the equipment and the safety of processes. There are no small details here—every component matters.

My interest in technology began back in childhood. In the garage with my grandfather, while repairing a car, I first realized that I enjoyed working with tools, understanding mechanisms, and seeing the tangible results of my work. Over time, this interest turned into a conscious professional choice.

In my work, I rely on diligence, attention to detail, and a strong desire for continuous development. I am able to work in a multitasking environment, quickly find solutions, and I highly value teamwork—because it is support and knowledge sharing that make us stronger.

I am sincerely grateful to the management, supervisors, and colleagues for their trust, support, and mentorship. Being part of a strong and professional team is a great value and a source of confidence in my abilities.

I see this stage of my career as a foundation for further professional growth. My goal is to deepen my technical knowledge, expand my competencies, and contribute to the company’s shared success. For me, working at Borusan Cat is an opportunity to turn a childhood interest in technology into a serious profession and to become better every day.

And finally, I would like to say a few words to girls:

Do not be afraid to choose a path that may seem “not quite suitable” for a woman. Professions do not have a gender—they are defined by interest, motivation, and a willingness to learn. If you truly enjoy what you do, if you feel a genuine inner drive, then this is your path. It is important to believe in yourself, not be afraid to start, and remember that confidence and professionalism come with experience.
