I, Kristina Verbitskaya, have been working in Borusan Cat Kazakhstan since 2010.

I started my way as a counter in the sales department of spare parts and service. Back in 2010, I was the first girl who had a three-month internship in the workshop. I had to learn what all the parts looked like.

I believe that all dreams spoken aloud become reality. When I went on maternity leave, I told everyone that I wanted to work as a marketer. Even though at that time there was no marketing department in the company.

Two years and eight months later, I got a position as a marketer at the Central Exhibition Center in Karaganda.

Now I am a leading marketing specialist in the Sales and Marketing Department.  I love my job very much. I have a lot of diverse and interesting tasks, so each day is different from one another.

I make videos about our services, organize events for colleagues and clients, create advertising orders, provide comprehensive marketing support to brand managers, and collect materials for social networks and magazines, in short, I have the opportunity to work in many areas, and, as I said, I love it this way.

Most memorable events.

During the time I have been working in the company, many shoots and events of various kinds have been organized. Among them, I would single out the three most memorable moments:

- Shooting of "In the rhythm of Borusan".

This was the longest project in which the video sequence and the sound sequence were recorded separately. The sounds were recorded in the evening so that there were no extraneous noises. Then a St. Petersburg sound engineer wrote music from these sounds, which was very unusual. At the end of the work, we combined video and sound - it turned out great. Our permanent videographer created a miracle, which you can see on our YouTube channel.

- Shooting of " Where your parents work".

In 2017, we invited the children of our employees. We organized a tour of the workshops, told them in a playful way how the work process takes place, and then, in front of the cameras, we asked them questions. It turned out to be very funny. You can watch the video on our YouTube channel. It was the most energy-consuming shoot. I love children very much, but it was difficult to organize the kids, to keep them safe, and to record videos at the same time.

- The third and most beautiful event is the organization of the holiday "Children's Day".

We counted the number of children of all our employees in Karaganda. There were more than 300 children. We decided to divide them into two days to give maximum attention to each one. It was unforgettable: we had a sightseeing tour of the workshops and organized entertainment stands all over the territory. The most touching moments after the event were when we started receiving messages of gratitude from the children.

Maintaining a work-life balance.

I am a versatile person - I love knitting, dancing, watching soccer, and traveling. But most of all, I love the wilderness. We go camping almost every weekend.

While keeping a balance between work and life, every year, when I go on vacation, I go to the wild taiga near Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Altai region for 5-6 days.To get to the place we overcome more than 1000 kilometers and part of them on off-road, where not every car will be able to pass. In total, the road takes about 18 hours. For a modern person, it can be stressful to be left without communication and light, but it is always good for us. We get to have a rest from the endless information flow.

In the taiga, where we stop, there are no people for hundreds of kilometers, only wild animals, forests, and mountain rivers. We live in a hunting lodge, there is a big bathhouse next to an icy mountain river.

Every year we make medicinal herbs there: St. John's wort, willow tea, and chaga mushroom. We collect seasonal mushrooms and berries. We catch fish, mostly grayling. We go hunting, sitting on a bazooka for 6-8 hours waiting for the prey.

On the way home, to Karaganda, we visited different beautiful places: reserves, Bukhtarma, and Bayanaul. This year we spent 14 days on the road trip. Here are some photos from our trip.

To all newcomers, I wish you to continue to carry the values and principles of Borusan Cat Kazakhstan. And don't forget about work-life balance!
