Elena Belskaya, but we all know her as aunty Lena, she calls herself a supervisor in microecology and indeed, wherever she works, it is always clean, and the atmosphere is good.

Elena is a very versatile person, she speaks English and Turkish, travels, helps animal shelters and helps many of our colleagues in learning English grammar.

How long have you been working in Borusan Cat Kazakhstan?

This year it will be 13 years. I came to the company when the office was on the Bytovoi street and, of course, the working conditions then were incomparably different than they are now in our Center. But this did not prevent good impressions about the company. The team has always had a friendly atmosphere both among ordinary employees and on the part of the management. I was very impressed by the attitude of the top management to me as I was a cleaner, but they treated me and everyone else with deep respect. The company has a good corporate culture, I wish the company continues to maintain this advantage.

In 2011, there was a grand event, the entire production moved from one removable workshop to a large modern Center, could you tell us more about it?

When we moved here, I was the only one in service staff. The first thought that came to mind: Oh, it's all mine Of course, everything has become different, different requirements, special cleaning equipment has appeared, a lot of new people, working conditions have improved significantly. The company began to develop with great speed, look at what is now, a huge production. But what stayed permanent is going to work as to a holiday!

What do you love most about your work?

People, they are somehow special here. I love the communication.

What would you advise to those who are just starting their career in our company?

To work conscientiously and despite everything not to lose the spirit of Borusan Cat.

Please tell us a little about yourself, what you love, what you are interested in?

I really like to study, get new knowledge. For example, when I started working here, I started learning Turkish and now, having arrived in this country, I can communicate with the locals in their language. Over the years of working here, I have traveled almost all Türkiye, visited more than 20 cities of this beautiful country. Every year I go there and have been to such cities as Istanbul, Kalkan, Aksaray, Gaziantep, Mersin and many others. Every place in this country was remembered in its own way, but the most memorable, it was rafting. Descent down the Kepryul canyon in Manavgat, when the two of us kayaked 12 km along the bubbling river and I was 53 years old at the time.

I play keyboard instruments, in general I really like musicand I help animal shelters whenever it’s possible.

What was the most memorable case in the company?

In the first days of my work, I asked a person who was unknown to me at that time to leave the office, because I needed to wash the floor there. He got up, smiled, and calmly left... Later I found out that it was our beloved Özgür Bey. Of course, I was preparing for the fact that I would at least be reprimanded, but he's not like that! Another very bright moment was at the New Year's corporate party in 2012, we had an ensemble and we played the famous Jingle Bells. There were percussion instruments, Eser Bey played the bass guitar, the girls sang. Of course, before the performance we got together more than once and rehearsed.

I love my company very much and hope to work here for many more years.
