I would love to greet you in every language in the world, but let's stick with the universal "Hello."

So, hello, dear colleagues from all around the globe!

After many years at the company, I can now count myself among the veterans.

I joined Borusan when I was 24. The first few months were challenging: my role required me to get to know all the employees at once, turning my mind into a real puzzle trying to figure out who was who and what they did. It wasn’t easy, as I mentioned, but it was fascinating. I threw myself into work, while at home, my young child and husband awaited me. Year by year, step by step, the time flew by in a blink, and now my son has ventured into his own independent adult life. This has given us the chance to indulge in our passion – traveling.

I am ready to devote all my free time to traveling. Nothing enriches my inner world like exploring the globe. It’s the ultimate recharge for my body and mind. The emotions I gather, the sights I see, the sounds I hear, the foods I taste – they all sustain me as I eagerly await the next adventure, sparking my imagination and warming me with memories.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of major airports worldwide, where travelers from every corner of the planet gather. There’s a sense of freedom and anticipation in their eyes, with relaxed clothing, backpacks, and hair tousled from previous flights. I watch and realize how diverse we all are, yet how similar too. Travel is a brief, beautiful life where you can become someone you wouldn’t normally allow yourself to be, disconnect from daily worries, and be a carefree traveler with salty hair and eyes wide open to new wonders.

So far, we’ve had the chance to visit places like the Philippines, Bali, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Maldives, Turkey, Tunisia, the UAE, Qatar, Spain, Germany, Thailand, Georgia, Egypt, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan. I should mention that we’ve been to Thailand countless times. There’s something about Thailand that makes your soul feel at home. You land and instantly feel free and happy. That’s why we keep going back.

If I could mentally transport myself to any of the places mentioned above, I think I could vividly recall the walks in Krasnaya Polyana: the low-hanging clouds at eye level, the brightly colored October trees, the charming promenade named Lavanda, the cold, rushing river, and the warm, aromatic mulled wine. Or let’s leap to the small Philippine Island of Boracay, where we run across the cool, fine sand into the crystal-clear sea in the scorching heat. The sunsets are so vibrant and unforgettable that Boracay can easily rival the Maldives. One of my luckiest moments was stepping out onto the helipad of a skyscraper in Doha at night, with no railings. You feel like you’re on top of the world, and the view takes your breath away.

The world is so beautiful and multifaceted. There hasn’t been a single place we didn’t enjoy or wouldn’t return to. Every place is wonderful, but home is always the best…

Travel, friends, for the experiences are priceless.
