I will never forget my first visit to the office of Borusan Cat, an interview with Mr. Ershan and Ms. Rusiko. I had just returned to Georgia from the Czech Republic, where I completed my second master's degree in applied mechanics in English. I had forgotten a bit of Georgian and only technical English words were in my head. Mr. Ershan avoided asking questions about the equipment. Probably thinking about what to ask the girl. I responded very freely with technical education and experience, so they slowly began to express their positive emotions and could not hide them. They were amazed by me because of such theoretical educa-tion and practical experience in mechanical engineering, and also speaking in English so fluently.
It was a big challenge and responsibility for me to start working in such a big company. I was hired by the Customer Support Department as a Service Management Control System Analyst. A year later I was pro-moted and appointed to the position of Service Engineer in the same department. Two years later I be-came a Customer Support Marketing Specialist in the Marketing Department.
Borusan Cat is a place where knowledge and education are valued, no matter the experience and refer-ence circle. The company gives you a big progress in skills which you didn’t have before. You will sponta-neously increase the sense of responsibility, learn to work in a team, help and assist employees. The most important is that safe environment is created for everyone, given the current reality associated with the pandemic.
Over the years I have discovered that I have grown a lot in my profession and once again I am convinced that I have chosen the right specialty in my time. In the first stage of starting the work there were difficul-ties, small frustrations, but, through the right approaches and the expression of my free thought, fortu-nately, everything was sorted out. I love what I do today. I happily stand up and go to work. I do not even expect time to pass there, on the contrary, time passes so quickly in work. I have a feeling of dissatisfac-tion that I have to do a lot more things in that one working day.
This company turned out to be the best place for me to get a lot of knowledge, education and practice. As if Borusan Cat is one big book, with its multi-lingual and multi-national characters (staff). I have been read-ing it for almost 4 years now and with more and more interest.
